The Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana (CIIG) is looking for a multi-tasker with excellent communication skills who is willing to pursue a career in Insurance for the position of ADMINISTRATIVE SECRETARY
The Administrative Secretary shall head the Secretariat of the Institute and shall in the performance of his/her functions be accountable to the Governing Council headed by the President through the General Secretary of the Institute.
(1) The Administrative Secretary is responsible for the day to day administration of the affairs of the Institute and reports to the Governing Council, through the General Secretary, in the performance of functions
(2) The Administrative Secretary shall perform any other function determined by the Council including:
▪Implementing decisions of the Council
▪Handling office tasks such as filing, generating reports & presentations and setting up meetings
▪Taking & transcribing minutes of meetings
▪Training & supervising the other staff of the Secretariat
▪Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University
▪Must have prior administrative work experience
▪Must have excellent knowledge & competence in the use of the computer
▪Must possess excellent leadership skills and be able to work with little supervision
▪Must have strong organizational skills
▪Must be a good team player
